Beginning

Eri Ri 1138 was introduced to the Halo 2 Clan and Community, RvB: Retaliation , by already enlisted members, Delta Querk (iROC Your Sockz) and Delta Runner (FaTaL AcTioNz), through an invite to XxRazGriZ's party, January 24th, 2007. That night, he was put through a classic Red Army Bootcamp on Coagulation led by 5 Star General, XxRazGriZ. After being briefed on the community and army rules, and after each recruit gave out their alias, the Drill Intructors of the bootcamp proceeded to lead three laps around Coagulation, all whilst inside the safe comfort of the Warthog. Enduring grueling conditions (such as being shot and/or killed for jumping, switiching weapons, picking up weapons, throwing grenades, talking out of place, beating down, crouching, or just for no particular reason), the recruits ran their laps, slowly and sulrey being humbled, and thus building respect for their superiors. Many recruits washed out of basic, but 'Eri' stayed strong, and continued on to fight in that weekend's Battle of Waterworks...

Moving On

Having been assigned to (the original) Unforgiven Battalion, Private Eri Ri 11138 joined his fellow Red Soldiers on Turf for a stirring speach by ElChupacabra, the battalion CO, to prepare them for Waterworks. With strength, adrenaline, and determination in their veins, Unforgiven made contact with Blue Army soldiers for a popular RvB: Retaliation gametype, Hill 30, in which the objective was to control the one, central Hill, for as much time as possible in 20 minutes. The battle was fierce, with Blue Army tactically utilizing the Scorpian tanks, and Red Army SpecOps teams controling the side caverns, and, respectively, the power weapons. The Hill, on the other hand, was an unorganized hellhole of death. Each army constantly recieved reinforcements, and the anti-tank fire of rockets and Scorpian rounds echoed throughout the caverns for what seemed like hours. The sword and shotgun which spawned nearby incited fear and panic amongst each army's ranks. However eventally, Red Army soldiers discoverd the use of the ladder as cover. With enough friendly combatants keeping the Blues from entering the hill, teams of 3 -4 at a time grabbed defilade behind the stone column. When they were eliminated, 3-4 more dropped down to continue the process. As it was, Private Eri Ri 1138 fought hard and long and was able to withstand the Blue onslaught. When the match was said and done, Private Eri Ri 1138 had accumulated more time in the Hill than Blue Army's team had alltogether. News must have gotten around, for later than night, Eri Ri 1138 and Delta Querk were both visited by XxRazGriZ. He said simply, "Delta, you have been promoted to Corporol, Eri Ri 1138, you have been promoted to Private First Class. And Eri, good work tonight. I'm keeping my eye on you."

Through the next few battles, and filled with an overwhelming sense of patriatism and pride in his army, Eri came up with the quote,

"My armor is Red,

My blood is Red,

My heart is Red,"

Many Soldiers have since adopted this quote and put it in their forum signatures, themselves filled with the same pride that coursed through Eri's veins.

Eri's days as a Red Army Enlisted were numbered, as he was constantly boosted in promotions. From PFC, to Master Sergeant, to Captain, just as RvB: Retaliation was ending. He continued to marvel the Red Army High Command with his battle-ready persona, tactics, and most of all, skill with the Sniper Rifle. It was during these last few months in Rvb: Retaliation that many Blue Soldiers, and Red Soldiers alike, developed a fear of his marksmanship. Eye-witness reports confirm frustrating attempts at trying to exit Blue Base, Coagulation, due to being pinned down by Eri Ri 1138's Sniper Rifle fire. As it was, all attempts were neutralized.

However, Coagulation was lost to Blue Army, and thus ending the last battle of RvB; Retaliation.

Halo 3 and Now

With the formation of Forerunner Conflict, Eri Ri 1138 continued to serve under XxRazGriZ. Soon he became his right-hand-man as the General of Red Army by the time of the second Forerunner Conflict war. After founding Blackheart Battalion, Eri Ri 1138 participated and won many battles with his men, and was a great help to Red Army as they were able to crush the Blue offensive, and push them back to their capital of Avalanche, subsequently ending the war, one of Red Army's first total victories.

As the Forerunner Conflict community grew, it expanded and changed. Eri Ri 1138 changed his gamertag to EriRi 1138, due to a hotmail fluke. Many old leaders moved on to persue their lives. With the departure of XxRazGriZ, and Emmett07's ship-off to Iraq, One Diamond took the throne as Field Marshall, and Eri, for a short time, undertook the mantle of Forum Ghost, and other forum community administrators. However he couldn't remain neutral for long.

With the end of FC3, community aspect inspired changes took place. Older members longed for a state of respect that mirrored RvB: Retaltiation's, and a fewer number of ranks were established. Amidst the changes, EriRi 1138 became the new Red Field Marshall.

Today, Eri can be found monitering the forum boards, updating Red Army information, and recreating the fabled Blackheart Battalion, once again, with victory set in his oh-so-acurate sights.
